Cocktails and Camellias – Things to Do In Charleston 2022

February 26th

Mix and mingle at the most beautiful Cocktail Party in Charleston. Explore America’s Oldest Landscaped Gardens at Middleton Plantation. Here you’ll enjoy a unique opportunity to see the vast expanse of camellias at Middleton Place. Explore all sixty-five acres of the formal Garden Rooms at Middleton Place.

75th Annual Festival of Houses and Gardens

March 16th – April 9th

Since 1947 the Festival of Houses and Gardens has been Historic Charleston Foundation’s largest fundraiser. An educational event that has provided intimate glimpses into some of the most beautiful homes and gardens in Charleston, SC. Charleston Spring Antiques Show

April 1st – 3rd

The Charleston Spring Antiques Show is truely one of the best events and things to do in Charleston 2022 for antique lovers. This event brings together 32 exhibitors from the United States and Europe. Exhibitors will showcase the best period to mid-century furniture, traditional and contemporary art and ceramics. Including jewelry, folk art, oriental rugs, silver, prints and maps, garden and architectural antiques.

The Charleston Spring Antiques Show is inspired by the rich historical, architectural and cultural heritage of Charleston. A premier destination for collectors and enthusiasts who enjoy seeing and learning about incorporating antiques into modern-day décor. The Charleston Spring Antiques Show will be returning to the Charleston Gaillard Event Center, 95 Calhoun Street.

Credit One Charleston Open

April 4th – 10th

The Credit One Charleston Open is the largest women’s only tennis tournament in North America. Every April, Credit One and Charleston welcomes more than 100 world-class, women athletes to participate in the excitement of the Credit One Charleston Open. Records are broken and memories are made as extraordinary tennis stars take the Court at Credit One Stadium to compete for the coveted title of the Credit One Charleston Open The Credit One Open also offers opportunities to experience the event as a volunteer!

North Charleston Arts Fest

May 4th – 8th

Come enjoy this five-day celebration of arts and culture in North Charleston. Highlights include regional and local artists and performers in the areas of Dance, Music, Theatre, Visual Arts, and Literature. For more than 37 years, the festival has made quality arts programming affordable and accessible to the widest spectrum of the public. Spoleto Festival USA

May 27th – June 12th

For 17 days and nights each spring, Spoleto Festival USA fills Charleston with entertainment and excitement. Visit South Carolina’s historic theaters, churches, and outdoor spaces where you’ll see performances by renowned artists as well as emerging performers. 18th Annual Sweetgrass Festival

July 23rd

The annual Sweetgrass Festival in Mount Pleasant is designed to promote and bring attention to the contributions of the Gullah Geechee.
